Is Kama a paid app?
Yes, Kama is a paid platform, available on App Store and Google Play. We ask for a minimum contribution of $12.99/month in order to continue our mission and bring the best sex education to everybody.
After your free 7-day trial, you’ll be billed automatically and according to the membership you sign up for. You can choose between:
- Monthly at $12.99
- Annual at $59.99
- Lifetime at $299.99
Our instagram account, @kama.lab, is dedicated to giving everyone access to the best sex education out there. We do this via sex tips video, tutorials and sharing reliable facts about sex, love and intimacy.
Who is the app for?
Kama is for everyone regardless of gender, age, or sexuality. Kama is for you if you want to connect with your body more deeply, understand what turns you on and how to communicate it, and have more meaningful relationships.
You can use the app as a single person or with your partner. You can also learn new sex tricks and techniques on the app, and then try them out with your partner(s).
Should I choose a monthly or yearly plan?
When you subscribe to a Kama plan, you can choose to be billed monthly or yearly.
Monthly plan ($12.99/month) is a great option if you’re unsure how long you’ll be using Kama or which plan will meet your needs.
However, there is so much to learn, and with new courses being released each week and regularly updated Q&A from our Community, yearly plan ($59.99/year or $12.99 monthly) is a smart choice if you’re planning on being a long-term Kama user.
How can I delete my Kama account?
1. Open the Kama app
2. Navigate to ‘My Kama’ tab
3. Tap on the Profile button located in the top left corner.
4. Scroll down and find the ‘Delete account’ button

What to do if I was unable to experience my 7-day free trial? Is it possible to extend?
It is better to start the free trial when you know you will have some time to experience the app and content. That way, you can start one of the courses and get a good feel and make an informed decision about your subscription plan.
How do I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel a subscription?
We offer yearly and monthly plans in-app. All our plans (except Kamasaddor membership) are recurring, and if you want to unsubscribe, you should cancel your plan before your prepaid period ends (term end). You can cancel your subscription from your iPhone / Android Settings. When you cancel your subscription, your access to certain Kama features will be restricted.
How is my subscription charged?
Your credit card will be charged automatically at the end of each billing period. So, if you opt for a monthly plan, your card will be charged monthly. If you are on a yearly plan, your card will be charged yearly.
I am subscribed, but the app states, “no valid subscription” what should I do?
If you are experiencing this issue, try to open the app paywall and click "Redeem Purchase." If it does not help, we suggest deleting and reinstalling the app to clear anything that might be causing an issue.
If this doesn’t work, please double-check that the subscription is still active. You can do this on your iOS device: Settings -> Your name: Apple ID, iCloud, Purchases & Media -> Subscriptions. If all those steps do not help, please write to us: hi@kama.co
How do I cancel my subscription?
If you have an app subscription, you can manage your subscriptions on your iOS device. Go to Settings -> Your name: Apple ID, iCloud Purchases & Media -> Subscriptions. However, if you have a Kamassador Membership, you can’t cancel, as this is a one-time payment, not a subscription, although you are eligible for a refund. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more information.
What is a Kamassador?
Kamassador Membership is so much more than a standard subscription, as it gives you access to all our app content for free, forever, early-bird access and reduced prices to our IRL workshops and retreats. We also host a monthly Q&A session with our founder Chloe Macintosh to discuss different topics and share insights and data analysis on sexuality and relationships.
The Kamassador Membership is a $299 one-time purchase billed exclusively on the website. (You can’t become Kamassador from within the app. )
What payment gateway do you use for Kamassador Membership? Is it safe?
Kama uses Stripe, a well-established, secure credit card payment gateway service, to process your credit card payment.
Can I refund my lifetime membership?
Yes, you can get a refund. Please email us at hi@kama.co.
Can I transfer my iOS subscription to Android?
Yes, you can do it. If you log in to your account from an Android device with your Kama account credentials, our backend should automatically recognise your subscription or Kamassador Membership. If it does not happen, write to us at hi@kama.co.
Should I use Kama alone or with a partner?
Both. We have a lot of content that is about self-discovery as well as many tutorials that are great to practice with partners. If you are single and looking to maintain high levels of arousal and develop your connection with yourself, Kama is ideal for this. If you are in a relationship, you can choose whether to use the app alone or bring your partner along for the ride. We recommend getting to know your own body first and then sharing what you’ve learnt with someone else.
Who creates the content?
Kama’s content is created exclusively for Kama in collaboration with our group of coaches, who come from various fields such as somatic therapy, psychosexuality, neuroplasticity, ancient wisdom, and intimacy coaching. We agree together on what courses are needed based on our research, and we co-create a programme that will offer our customer the best chance to learn and transform through pleasure and sex.
Is Kama anonymous?
Rest assured, your data is not saved or shared with anyone. At this time, we only collect information that you provide directly to us, such as your email address.
